By enrolling in InHome Jams (IHJ), you agree to the following policies:
TUITION
- The lesson program runs through the school year (see calendar).
- You will receive a minimum of 34 lessons from Sept-June.
- Your tuition pays for enrollment, not the number of classes received. Tuition is the same each month no matter how many weeks are in that month.
- Tuition is paid on the first of each month by automatic billing.
- There no refunds for missed classes.
AUTHORIZATION FOR AUTO-PAYMENT
By enrolling at InHome Jams (IHJ), you agree to participate in our monthly billing program (autopay). IHJ will initiate recurring entries to your bank account or credit card account. The origination of ACH transactions to the account must comply with the provisions of US Law. Furthermore, if any such debit(s) should be returned NSF (not sufficient funds), IHJ will collect such debit(s) by electronic debit and subsequently collect a NSF fee of $10 per item by electronic debit.
MAKEUP POLICY
Private Lessons Makeups
Each calendar year, students are eligible for two make-ups to be rescheduled during the weeks of 6/20-6/30 (see calendar). Should you miss your scheduled makeup lesson, that lesson will be forfeited.
Student-Missed Lessons
Should your child need to miss a lesson for any reason, please email the office at schedule@inhomejams.com with no less than 24 hours notice.
Day-of absences, including sickness, are not excused, and are not eligible for a makeup class.
Teacher-Missed Lessons
Should your teacher need to miss a lesson, we will make every effort to arrange a substitute instructor for your regularly-scheduled lesson time. In the event that there are no instructors available, we will schedule a makeup lesson with an available instructor within 30 days.
Weather Related Cancellations
In the event of inclement weather resulting in school closings, please do not assume that lessons are cancelled. Unless you are contacted directly by the office, lessons are to occur at their regularly-scheduled times. Should lessons be cancelled due to inclement weather you will receive an additional makeup credit. There are no refunds for missed lessons.
PHOTO/VIDEO RELEASE
IHJ likes to keep our current and prospective families up-to-date with our student successes and our company’s exciting new programs. By enrolling in the lesson program, you agree that IHJ can take photos or videos of your child during concerts and/or other performances, and use this media within our websites, social media, brochures, and/or online marketing.
If you do not want to give us permission, please let us know upon enrollment.
WITHDRAWAL
We understand that there may be times when a student has to leave the program due to unforeseen circumstances. Should you need to withdraw your child from the lesson program, we require a minimum of 30 days notice, no later than the 1st of the month. Failure to do so will result in being obligated through the end of the next billing month, during which your child will be welcome to attend their lessons.
In the event of withdrawal, all prior missed classes are forfeited.
